Teva Colombia Equity Index (COP)
The Teva Colombia Equity Index was designed to provide efficient, diversified exposure to the Colombian equity market. Its methodology incorporates liquidity and diversification criteria alongside rules aimed at replication efficiency for investment funds.
High liquidity: asset selection and weighting take traded volume into account, prioritising the most liquid securities and supporting more efficient portfolio management.
Diversification: made up of as many as 25 stocks and REITs, the portfolio seeks to represent the Colombian market without excessive concentration in any single issuer.
Low turnover: semi-annual rebalancing and minimum weight rules help limit portfolio turnover and reduce the transaction costs associated with replicating the index.
